While I might dream of a chef’s kitchen, I don’t yet have one. Here are the simple and worthwhile tools I stock my kitchen with that help me make these meals. No crazy, one-off gadgets here!
I’m dedicated to providing an ad-free experience on the site and providing all of my content for free. This page contains some affiliate links but the products are only those that I love and recommend. When you purchase anything using my links, it costs you absolutely nothing extra, but it does give me a little financial support which helps to keep the lights on here at The Paleo Chef’s Table.
It took me years to finally invest in one of these. I just thought I was covered with a food processor and immersion blender. Oh, how wrong I was. This machine produces the best soups, sauces, purees, sides and smoothies. I can’t live without it. Buy here on Amazon
Did you know you only need 2 kitchen knives? The rest are just icing on the cake – don’t waste your money on a knife block. Get yourself a chef’s knife that you love and that fits your hand well, and then get a good paring knife. This one is my favorite and is practically perfect. Buy here on Amazon
I couldn’t make homemade mayonnaise, or puree soups easily, without this magic wand. Buy here on Amazon
Obsessed is the word I would use to describe how I feel about my Original Greenpan Venice pans. They are GORGEOUS and absolutely nothing sticks to them (not even the Trader Joe’s Cauliflower gnocchi!). Plus, unlike with other non-stick pans, these are manufactured without PFAS, PFOA, lead or cadmium, which guarantees that no toxic fumes will release even when accidentally overheated. These make prepping and cooking a dream. Just chop, slice and dice your ingredients ahead of time and keep them at the ready in these glass bowls. Buy here on Amazon
I have a whole utensil holder that sits by my stove, but I pretty much only use my wooden spoons. I think it’s worth having a couple! They are great for no-stick pans too since they don’t scratch the surface. Buy here on Amazon
My Cuisinart has been with me for years. My mom gave it to me as a college graduation present. There are fancier versions out there but this one is tried and true. Buy here on Amazon
You probably already have baking pans, but do yourself a favor and get a pair of quarter sheet pans. They are 1/2 the size of your normal sheet pans and are perfect for roasting veggies, smaller portions of all your favorite oven-bound goodies, and for prepping raw meat on a surface that isn’t too large or unwieldy. We like to prep our meats for the grill on these guys! Buy here on Amazon
I couldn’t make my sweet potato and sharp cheddar gratin without this bad boy. It’s amazing for zucchini noodles, carrot coins, beet chips, or any veggie or fruit you need thinly sliced. I’ve owned a few mandolins over the years because other ones have been crappy, so I can vouch that this one is the best! Just exercise serious caution if you are partial to your fingers! I love these glass jars for storing homemade mayonnaise, pickles, or just plain leftovers. The larger size is also great for taking soup on the go! Buy here on Amazon
